In December 2021, the Government announced their plans for the second State Pension Age review.

We hosted a virtual ILC Partners Programme discussion to discuss:

• What the priorities for the Independent Reviewer, Baroness Neville-Rolfe, should be.
• Whether and how COVID-19 has impacted on healthy life expectancy and the employment rates of older workers.
• How the Government can mitigate the impact of State Pension Age increases for those of us who aren’t living longer and healthier lives.

We were joined by Baroness Neville-Rolfe, who is heading up the independent review on the State Pension Age.
