Trial and Error: Supporting age diversity in clinical trials

Date: Thursday 19 January 2023
Time: 4.00pm – 5.30pm

With the support of RBW Consulting, we are organising an expert roundtable discussion exploring issues around participation of older people in clinical trials.

Roundtable attendees will include people from Pharma & Biotech companies, Contract Research Organisations (CROs) and Decentralised Clinical Trials (DCTs) and other life science vendors, medical professionals, regulators, NGOs and other stakeholders with expertise in this field.

The objective of the session is to make practical recommendations for improving age diversity in clinical trials. They will discuss the barriers to older people’s participation in clinical trials and the possible consequences for treatments and patients. The findings will be published in an ILC report in spring 2023, so keep your eyes peeled for what promises to be a fascinating and important project.
