Immunisation in a digital world
Jun 26, 2018 | EVENT
On Tuesday, 26 June we held a participative event and futures workshop where we explored the potential for new technology to help increase the uptake of adult immunisation. This event was attended by policymakers, opinion formers, technology experts and those interested in health, ageing and vaccination.
Through the day we heared from experts on immunisation, and experts on technology.
We heard individual views and played a game of “Higher and Lower” to help develop different scenarios of what the future might look like.
With the support of Sanofi, the International Longevity Centre – UK are undertaking a project to explore how new technology could help increase the uptake of adult vaccination.
Through the project we will seek to:
• Highlight to policymakers across Europe the importance of adult immunisation
• Highlight how new technology can help increase uptake of adult immunisation
• Understand barriers to the introduction of new technology in this area
• Make policy recommendations to break down the barriers to the use of new technology to support adult immunisation
This Futures Workshop was a key part of this project.
