Mar 19, 2019 | EVENT
Date: Tuesday, 26 March 2019
Time: 12 to 2pm
Location: Brussels
As part of the Mobility4EU initiative, the ILC is holding a high-level stakeholder debate on delivering a positive vision for transport in the EU by 2030.
Mobility4EU is a multi-stakeholder initiative which has worked to deliver a vision and Action Plan for cross-modal, user-centred transport in the EU. The vision focuses on the social aspects of transport, including mobility planning, inclusive planning, automation and safety in transport. As such, it proposes a transport system which is:
- Economically, socially and environmentally sustainable
- Inclusive and user-centric
- Seamless and integrated
Following the recent publication of the Mobility4EU Action Plan, the lunch debate will serve as an opportunity for participants to learn more about the Mobility4EU vision and Action Plan and to take part in a future-focused debate on how policymakers and practitioners can and should work together to deliver the vision and action plan over the next decade.
