Working lunch: Vaccine confidence in Central & Eastern Europe
Date: Thursday 20 April 2023
Time: 12.00pm – 2.00pm (EEST / GMT+3)
Location: Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest, Romania
At this exclusive working lunch, we discussed the International Longevity Centre UK’s (ILC-UK) forthcoming report on vaccine confidence in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).
Understanding the barriers to vaccination and getting to the root cause of vaccine hesitancy in CEE is crucial. Along with the ILC Europe Network and the Coalition for Life Course Immunisation, ILC-UK has been working on a programme of work looking at vaccination across the life course in the region.
As part of this, we have produced an in-depth report highlighting the challenges as well as the policy opportunities for national CEE and EU stakeholders.
This working lunch at the University of Bucharest was an opportunity to hear from participants their feedback and input any further ideas.
This project has been made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer. For more information about the project, please visit our programme page.
