Aug 13, 2019 | EVENT
Date: Tuesday, 1 October 2019
Time: 1.30pm for 2.00pm to 4.30pm
Location: King’s Cross, London
ILC is organising a private workshop bringing together key stakeholders to explore what the future of driving will look like, and in particular its impact on an ageing society with the introduction of electric and autonomous vehicles.
The workshop is being run by ILC and is supported by LV= General Insurance, one of the UK’s largest car insurers.
Much of the debate around new driving technologies has to date focused on the legal or infrastructure aspects of these developments. This workshop is part of a research project by ILC to understand what the social impact of these technological developments may be in the context of an ageing society, looking at aspects of lived experience, public health and mobility.
If you are interested in attending, please email events@ilcuk.org.uk to reserve one of the remaining places.
