Through our Delivering prevention in an ageing world programme, supported by Home Instead, GSK, Pfizer, Seqirus, MSD and Gilead, we are now moving from “why” we ought to prioritise prevention across the life course to “how” we can deliver it.

While we need to be careful about treating technology as a silver bullet, technology undoubtedly has a crucial role to play in promoting the prevention agenda, as we have seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which health systems across the world have integrated new technologies into their health systems, from telehealth to drive-through clinics.

During this roundtable, we shared a draft consultation paper, collating insights from ongoing discussions with stakeholders on what works in increasing the uptake of technologies that aim to improve access to preventative services, including learnings from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
